They say that every night at midnight, a girl in a white dress appears at an abandoned subway station. She always stands in the same spot, staring toward the far end of the platform. One night, I decided to go there myself — to see whether the rumor was true.
When I arrived, the fluorescent lights were flickering, and water had pooled across the floor. The clock read 11:59. One minute later, every light went out at once — then came back on. And there, at the far end of the platform, stood a girl in a white dress.
I gathered my courage and approached her. I tapped her on the shoulder to see her face. When she turned around, there was nothing there — only a dark, hollow void where her face should have been. And then she whispered to me. "You're next."
